Review: NuMe White Truffle Shampoo/Conditioner & Leave-in Conditioner

Nume White Truffle Conditioners

I bought these NuMe products a few months ago and have finally gone through the full shampoo & conditioner bottles so I thought I’d tell you my opinion on them. NuMe is a product that many of you have probably heard about – they’re known for their hair styling tools and often have many discount codes available. When I purchased the NuMe leave-in conditioner there was a promotion code for a complimentary full-sized shampoo and conditioner.

As a health care provider I wash my hair everyday after work to cleanse myself from the hospital environment so hair care is very important to me. I look for products that will not strip the essential oils from my roots because I wash my hair (or at least use conditioner) every day. To me, conditioner is the most important part of my hair washing routine.

While the shampoo was not extraordinary (I’m sure any other brand from the drugstore will give similar results), the conditioner made my hair feel light, hydrated and healthy. The white truffle scent is very relaxing and not overpowering which is perfect for either starting your day or unwinding after a long days work. I will definitely repurchase the conditioner when another sale pops up but in the meantime I’ll be experimenting with other brands.

The leave-in conditioner is meant to be used after your shower while your hair is still wet. Unlike the shampoo and conditioner, the Leave-In Conditioner comes in a spritz bottle and is meant to be applied to the ends of your hair to give extra hydration and definition. This product doesn’t make my hair sticky – it just absorbs and makes my hair feel much softer in the morning. My only complaint is the packaging: if you’re not careful the product can spray all over the counter!
